1st day

Arrival in the morning hours and accommodation in hotel 4* in Marina di Camerota. Free day for discovering and visit of the historical city centre of Marina di Camerota. Lunch (optional) in the traditional restaurant where you can taste typical dishes from this region, es. ‘maracucciata’, local dish which has been preserved for centuries from generation to generation and which main ingredient is type of the bean which is planted only in this area. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

2nd day

After breakfast departure for trekking excursion in Morigerati WWF Oasis, one of the most important Nature saving project of WWF in Italy. The Village lies on the top of a cliff overlooking the Oasis and the Cave of Morigerati. WWF Oasis is the most beautiful and panoramic sites of Cilento National Park.

Return to hotel, dinner. Overnight.

 

3rd day

Breakfast. During the day departure for mountain bike excursion; ride from Lentiscosa to Serra degli Infreschi across olive-trees fields. This bay is a creek cut in the calcareous rock and covered with Mediterranean bushes. Further a path leads us to charming Porto Infreschi and to Cala Bianca. Return to hotel and overnight.

 

4th day

Breakfast. In the morning hiking tour to archaeological site of Velia and visit of the ruins of the Greek city. Continuing the visit of the mozzarella farm in Ascea, demonstration of production of mozzarella and tasting of local cheeses. Return to hotel, dinner. Overnight.

 

5th day

Breakfast. In the morning transfer to Pertosa and spelaeology tour with specialized instructors in the grottos of Pertosa; the visit will have various paths and you will be able to admire a truly enchanting place full of stalactites, stalagmites and huge underground halls. In the late afternoons return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 

6th day

Breakfast. Excursion with Quad in National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano. Before departure you will be given detailed instructions and explanations how to ride Quad. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

7th day

Breakfast. In the morning departure for trekking excursion on Mount Cervati, called the Prince of Cilento. A path climbs along the ravine up to the fortress ruins of Punta Fortino. Visitors will enjoy sweet-smelling sea-lilies and sea-rocket. The northern slopes are covered by rich pine-woods and a thick carpet of juniper, myrtle and rosemary, while on the rocks grow sea-fennels and the exclusive ‘Primula Palinuri’. From that rocky barrier sheer to the sea the fantastic sunsets beyond the Gulf give the guests unforgettable emotions.

Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

8th day

Breakfast. Departure. End of services.
