CILENTO, NATURE AND TRADITION

1st day

Arrival of the partecipants and accommodation in an elegant boutique hotel which stands in its regaind beauty of ancient monastery from XIV century in Pisciotta, fairytale village situated between olive trees and Tyrrhenian sea.

In the evening possibility for optional excursion with fishermen of Pisciotta. Sailing in the night by their own boats, enjoying the night mysterious charm and sounds of the sea. Fishing with menaica net that is a very ancient and important tradition of this territory, mainly of Pisciotta village, and it is used most of all for anchovies fishing. Continuing with barbecue on the beach which will conclude this wonderful night trip. Overnight.

2nd day

Breakfast. Meeting with our representative and departure for the excursion to Baia degli Infreschi by a typical fisher-boat along the beautiful coast of Palinuro. Short stopover for a bath in the crystal-clear sea water in Buondormire bay. Free evening for discovering inner city of Pisciotta.

3rd day

Breakfast. Excursion to archaeological site of Velia and visit of the ruins of the Greek city. Continuing the visit of the mozzarella cheese factory in Ascea, demonstration of production of mozzarella and tasting of local cheeses. In the afternoon return to hotel. End of services.
